Historical real loss in housing prices
According to the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) housing price index data, there was a 14.7 percent decrease in real terms in housing prices across Türkiye in October. Thus, the steepest real loss in the history of the index was preserved in October.

The real loss in house prices continued in October.
The housing price index published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) increased by 26.8 percent in October compared to the same period of the previous year. In October, consumer prices in Turkey increased by 48.6% on an annual basis.
The real decrease in house prices in the same period was 14.7 percent, preserving the historical real loss recorded in September.
The highest monthly increase among the three major cities in October was in Izmir with 4.5 percent. Izmir was followed by Ankara with 2.8 percent and Istanbul with 1.1 percent.
Considering the annual change, the highest increase was seen in Ankara in October. Housing prices in Ankara increased by 32.5 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. While the annual increase in housing prices in Izmir was 28.7 percent, it remained at 21.2 percent in Istanbul.
